Accident at Shadipora Link Road Leaves One Injured

Shadipora, Sumbal | May 14, 2025 — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident that occurred earlier today at Shadipora Link Road. According to eyewitnesses, an unidentified vehicle, driven by an unknown driver, struck a pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
The victim has been identified as Mohd Abrahim Malla, son of Ali Mohd, a resident of Shilvat, Sumbal. Local residents rushed to the spot upon hearing the impact and immediately called for medical assistance. Malla sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. His condition remains unknown at the time of this report.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the vehicle and the driver responsible for the incident. Police have urged any witnesses to come forward with information that could aid in the apprehension of the suspect. Surveillance footage from nearby shops and traffic cameras is also being reviewed as part of the investigation.
Local residents have raised concerns over increasing incidents of reckless driving on Shadipora Link Road, calling for stronger traffic enforcement to prevent future accidents.
