Massive Crackdown on JeI-Linked Network in Sopore; Searches Underway at 26 Locations
Sopore: Security forces have launched a major coordinated search operation at 26 locations across the Sopore area, targeting individuals and premises allegedly linked to the proscribed Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI).
The searches are reportedly part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged activities and network of JeI-linked individuals. Further details regarding recoveries or questioning are awaited.
Earlier operations in Sopore have involved searches at more than 25 locations in Sopore, Zaingeer and Rafiabad areas, with police reporting the seizure of documents, digital devices and other material for examination.
