New Delhi, April 20, 2025:The Shri Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society Organisation Kashmir Incharge Tafazul Wani, is currently in Delhi, holding a series of high-level meetings in preparation for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025. In a significant move, Wani met with Mahamandaleshwar of Akhada No. 5 and Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of the late Sushma Swaraj, to discuss arrangements for the yatra.

During the meeting, discussions centered around enhancing the facilities for pilgrims, strengthening the coordination between various agencies, and ensuring the smooth operation of services, especially the 665 langars that will be functioning under Tafazul Wani’s supervision this year.

Tafazul Wani also stated that vehicles carrying essential supplies—including rice, tents, medicines, and other necessities—have already been arranged and dispatched. He reaffirmed that, like every year, free medicines will be distributed among pilgrims as part of the society's ongoing commitment to public service.

In addition to official meetings, Tafazul Wani visited Kali Mandir, where he met West Bengal cell leader Phabari Tapas Ray. During this visit, Wani was warmly received and felicitated with a white patka in a gesture of respect and appreciation.

He also had a brief yet meaningful interaction with a Member of Parliament at the premises, where he took time to reflect on the teachings of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Tafazul Wani honored Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy by presenting a finished gospel recounting the sage’s contributions to India’s Constitution and social justice.

With Amarnath Yatra 2025 approaching, Tafazul Wani’s proactive efforts and coordination at the national level underscore the importance of preparedness and unity in ensuring a safe and spiritually enriching pilgrimage for devotees across the country.
